WAXED CRESCENT GRAZING COMPANY | AKRON OHIO CATERING

We love a baby shower brunch no matter the theme, but a farmers market vibe is JUST our style 😍

All of our menus are fully customizable, but this one included mini Italian sandos, mini quiche, chicken + waffles, honey pecan brie bites, and our longtime favorite winter citrus and burrata salad topped with a healthy drizzle of local honey and a handful of crushed pistachios for that crunch.

Decorative touches like mini milk jug vases with wildflower bouqs, overflowing berry baskets, galvanized steel, pine crates, and chalkboard signage brought everything together for that outdoor market aesthetic without being too on the nose.

Or spring + summer books are getting quite full, but there are still some available dates on our calendar- inquire at the link in our bio! Graduation, baby + bridal showers, and weddings are coming in hottttt! Like today’s forecast! But only today’s. Iykyk. Ohio weather, baby!

tonight’s dessert cheese pairing featuring gorgonzola dolce with the weekend’s leftover bits and pieces / mild., creamy gorgonzola + any chocolate 4eva / prepackaged crumbles could never / I was reminded of @kabyliabaguette when I pulled my #spreadlove knife out of the drawer / plus an unhinged pairing that @cheezytalkwithmadelyn might endorse if she tried it / not my usual content but this was fun / what bite would you go in for first?

2. caprese: ciabatta slathered with pesto and loaded with seasoned fresh mozz and tomatoes, then drizzled with olive oil and balsamic glaze
3. turkey pesto, turk p if ya nasty: roasted turkey, provolone, fresh greens and house made pesto aioli on french baguette - a best seller, for good reason!

Box one features a variety of snackable cheeses and cured meats alongside fresh fruits, veggies, dips, and spreads. Box two rounds it out with an assortment of crackers, breads, nuts, and other crunchy munchies designed to complement the first box. Here’s how we build a champagne-forward grazing table:
🧈 Triple-crème & bloomy rinds Think brie-style cheeses with high butterfat. Champagne’s acidity cuts straight through the richness, while the bubbles cleanse the palate between bites. Creamy + crisp = balance.
🧀 Aged alpine & nutty styles Gruyère, Comté, aged gouda - these bring savory depth and gentle sweetness that mirrors champagne’s brioche notes from extended lees aging. This is where the pairing feels luxurious, not loud.

quick heads-up as we prep orders for this weekend: a shipment delay means we’ve had to pivot our styling just a bit. some boards may be presented on 12x18 rectangles instead of our usual 12” or 16” rounds.

These boxes were for brie-lovers: triple crème brillat-savarin, perfectly paired with all the accompaniments… honey, jam, chocolate, nuts, fruit, and crackers. Garnished with gorgeous edible flowers - what more could you ask for?

These lil bb pumpkin tartlets are as sweet as can be. Topped with a maple mascarpone whip and crushed praline pecan, this ain’t ya mama’s punkin pie - and that’s the point!

While we typically hire out the dessert table - it’s just not our specialty, and we know so many talented folks around Akron - sometimes we make an exception, and this event, hosted by close family friends, was just that.

These tiny tartlets are pretty, yes, and they’re pretty easy to assemble, too. Start with pumpkin pie - store bought or homemade (we love a classic recipe made from @libbyspumpkin) - and cut out little rounds from the pies with a biscuit cutter. Top with whatever you prefer, just make sure there’s enough whipped cream for every bite! If you’re serving right away, Redi-whip to the rescue! Otherwise, I recommend a stabilized whipped cream. Making your own flavored whipped cream is so simple, and throwing a lil mascarpone (@belgioiosocheese all dayyy) in the mix adds depth to the flavor and texture.

We are unable to accept any more delivery orders for that date. If you place a delivery order for Nov 26 starting today, we will reach out and ask if you’d prefer to pick it up or cancel the order. My website isn’t giving me the option to adjust delivery availability without affecting pickup availability 🤪

I know many of you were disappointed last year when I couldn’t do Thanksgiving boards. But this is your time, guys, because ITS HAPPENING!!!

PS heads up - we won’t be offering Christmas boards this year 😭 but there’s still plenty of time to gather around some cheese and graze with friends and fam before December 25th 🫶 so get your orders in because there is only so much we can do on any given day! Xo

Sales & Acceptance

All sales are final. Orders must be accepted on the selected date and within the designated pickup or delivery window. Waxed Crescent Grazing Company’s responsibility ends once the order has been released from our possession.

Food Safety Statement

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all items containing perishable foods must remain refrigerated until shortly before serving (approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour). The FDA recommends that perishable foods may remain at room temperature for up to four hours; however, items should not be re-refrigerated or saved for leftovers after two hours.

Allergen Statement

Waxed Crescent Grazing Company operates out of a shared commercial kitchen and is not an allergen-free facility. While every reasonable precaution is taken to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee the absence of trace allergens. Products may contain or have come into contact with dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, or shellfish.

Pickup, Delivery & Liability

Upon pickup by the client or transfer to a third-party delivery service, Waxed Crescent Grazing Company relinquishes control of the order and is released from liability related to transportation, venue access, setup, service, food handling, or storage thereafter, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Clients are responsible for compliance with venue policies and any insurance requirements related to delivery or on-site activity not performed by Waxed Crescent.
